The Danger of the Plain

But what if the most dangerous place for your soul isn't the valley, but the plain? The plain is that season where life is stable, the bills are paid, and the kids are healthy. It feels safe. But it’s often in the comfort of the plain that we quietly begin to drift. We start to love the blessings of God more than God Himself.
