How far back does God go with you?

Most of us start the story at our conversion. That is when we began paying attention, so that is where we assume God started working.

But listen in a few minutes, to how the Bible introduces a Syrian general who did not know the Lord, had never worshiped Him, and had no interest in Him. It says God gave him his victories.

Which means the answer to my question is further back than you think. He was working the years you were not watching.
